Irish Furniture, featuring James’ photographs and written by The Knight of Glin & James Peill, was published by Yale University Press in Spring 2007. Irish Furniture is the first ever book on the subject and provides a detailed survey of not only furniture, but also of the whole range of carving in wood, set against the backdrop of contemporary inventories and socio-historical sources, from the earliest times to the Union of Ireland with Great Britain in 1800.
